We are a student-run group that strives to foster interest in STEM through hands-on experiences in robotics. Our team participates in FIRST (For inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, an international organization that involves students in STEM. Through our program, students gain valuable hands-on STEM experience not available in traditional public high School education. The opportunities presented by the FIRST program also develop students' leadership abilities and business skills.
Vikings Robotics has participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition since 2009. It has made some notable achievements, including a quarterfinalist in the 2022 San Diego regional, semifinalist in 2019 and 2018, and winner of the 2011 Las Vegas regional.
